Shannon McCook
Shannon McCook (Miss Shannon) is a native of Suwannee County. She began her training at Marilynn’s School of Dance in 1979. Growing up, she studied with two other studios: Elaine’s School of Dance (1981-1982) and Sharon’s School of Dance (1982-2012). She began as a student assistant at the age of 6, where she continued in this position until her junior year of high school. She took two years off from assisting to participate in the Suwannee High Band Auxiliary. Upon graduating, she became an assistant teacher in 1994 and then a full-time teacher in 1995. As a youth, she attended numerous workshops, conventions, and fine arts camps; studying under some of the nation’s finest teachers & choreographers. She also participated in multiple competitions and talent shows. As a teacher, she has continued to attend workshops to continue her dance education. In 2006, Miss Shannon took ownership of Dance Works in Jasper. Following the retirement and closing of Sharon’s School of Dance in 2012, Miss Shannon opened Danceology. Outside of the studio, Miss Shannon enjoys traveling, attending & volunteering at ComicCons, and being a "Crazy Cat Lady".

Abigail Rodriguez
Mrs. Abigail “A. Rod” Rodriguez grew up in Live Oak. A graduate of both Suwannee High School and Sharon’s School of Dance, where she met Miss Shannon, Mrs. Abi went on to earn a BA degree in dance from Florida International University. She was able to turn a passion for dance into a successful teaching career, beginning as a dance teacher at a Miami middle school for 6 years, then English and dance at Branford High for 7 years, and finally found a permanent home at Suwannee High in 2011-12. Today, she teaches a variety of social studies courses and dance, as well as coaching the Dancing Dolls at SHS. Mrs. Abi teaches hip hop, ballet, and pointe at Mrs. Abi teaches hip hop, ballet, and pointe at the Live Oak location. She and her husband, Eric “E. Rod” Rodriguez, both enjoy spending time at their second home in the Keys. Their twin daughters, Luna & Emelia, are proud alumni of Danceology and visit whenever possible. Mrs. Abi loves her Danceology family!

Chelsea Windham
Mrs. Chelsea Windham grew up in Jasper and began her dance training at the age of 10 at Dance Works, which is now Danceology. As a student, she was a member of the competition team and volunteered as a student assistant. Following her graduation from Hamilton County High School, Mrs. Chelsea continued her education at the University of West Florida, where she earned an undergrad and master’s degree. She taught in the Hamilton County School District from 2013-2019 and then worked as the Assistant Finance Director for the Hamilton County Clerk and Board until 2026. Mrs. Chelsea was hired as an instructor for our Jasper location in 2014, where she has instructed Kinderdance through high school ages. Mrs. Chelsea is married to her wonderful husband, Chance & has 3 beautiful daughters: 4-year old Sadie & twins, Layna & Charli. This year, she will be instructing our 2nd - 6th graders at our jasper location this year.
Holli Cercy
Instructor - Jasper
Holli was born and raised in Jasper and started dancing when she was 3 years old at Dance Works, which is now Danceology. She danced for 10 years and took tap, jazz, and ballet and was a member of the competition team. She graduated from HCHS in 2008 and decided to leave Hamilton County and embark on new journeys. She chose a profession in the dental field and enjoyed working as a dental assistant, receptionist, and office manager for 11 years. After returning to her hometown, she now works for the county. Holli has three children and outside of dancing, she enjoys going to church at CrossPointe Community Church, spending time with her family, and crafting. She loves animals, all things purple, and fully believes that chocolate makes everything better. She will be teaching our high school classes at our Jasper location.

Breanna Piet
Breanna, “Miss Bre”, started dancing at Danceology in 2014. She has danced for 11 years studying ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, lyrical, hip hop, & contemporary. She started as a student assistant in 2015 and found her passion! Miss Bre loves to watch children learn to love dancing the way she does. In 2017, she joined the studio competition team, winning multiple awards and being chosen as an all-star at several competitions. She graduated valedictorian of her class in 2024. Outside of the studio, she loves Disney, gaming, and reading, but has a massive love of animals! She currently owns 25 snakes, a ferret named Bohdi, and a doberman named Delilah. Miss Bre is instructing our K-1st combo & assisting with all age groups in our Live Oak location.
Cassidy Wiggins
Instructor - Jasper
Cassidy has been passionate about dance for as long as she can remember. She trained at Danceology for 16 years, studying jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and pointe. Throughout her time at Danceology, Cassidy was also a member of the competition team, where she developed a love for performing, teamwork, and pushing herself to grow as a dancer. Cassidy is currently a student at Liberty University studying Education and works as a middle and high school math teacher. Her love for teaching extends beyond the classroom, as she is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where young dancers can feel confident, challenged, and supported.
One of Cassidy’s favorite parts of teaching dance is watching students grow—not only in their technique and confidence, but also in their love and appreciation for dance. She hopes to inspire her students to work hard, express themselves, and most importantly, enjoy every moment of their dance journey. Along with joining the Danceology faculty for 2026-2027, she can also be found teaching at South Georgia Dance Company in Adel, GA!
